Located at the offshore of Rushan, Weihai, Shandong Province, the Bandao Nan U Offshore Wind Power Project consists of two sites (U1 and U2) with a total installed capacity of 1,500 MW and 177 large-capacity wind turbines each rated at 8.5 MW. The wind farm is 26 kilometers offshore with water depths ranging from 28 to 31 meters, operating amid harsh sea conditions in the Yellow Sea characterized by heavy salt spray and rough waves.

Based on various vessel types and hull structures, GN provides customized Bailey trusses to match unique project requirements. During the customization phase, our experienced technicians board vessels to conduct hull verification, data surveying, and pre-positioning work. Once delivered to the site, the Bailey trusses can be installed directly in accordance with pr-marked references and relevant standards.

Featuring a simple overall structure and modular components, our Bailey trusses allow for easy logistics, loading, and transportation. No complex on-site fabrication is required, as pre-positioning and layout marking are completed in advance. Only a simple assembly is needed for final installation. This solution effectively shortens erection time within limited offshore operating windows, reduces construction costs, and minimizes schedule disruptions caused by adverse weather.

Capable of stably supporting hundred-meter-class wind turbine blades, the trusses prevent blade deformation and collision damage throughout storage and transportation, delivering reliable protection for the blades. With robust equipment, Jien Offshore Engineering backs the development of green energy. Every set of our Bailey trusses serves as a solid foundation for deep-sea wind farm construction.

Adhering to quality products and professional services, GN will continue to empower more offshore wind power projects and contribute to the development of China’s green energy sector.
